Gensler ranks first on the list of the largest architectural offices in the world. The company was founded in 1965 and has been headquartered in San Francisco since its inception. Today, however, its operation is global — the studio has dozens of branches, the most in the US, several in the Middle and Far East. In Europe, only two — in Birmingham and London. Gensler employs 2570 architects — this is an absolute record (another company in the list of the largest architectural offices hired eight hundred people less).
